AIM has an opening for an RBT who will be responsible for assisting behavioral teams in the school setting. Duties include adhering to behavioral intervention plans developed by the ARD/IEP committee to provide students with the necessary interventions needed in the educational setting.

Adhere to school and/or organizational policies and procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The day-to-day execution, and support of a behavioral plan, can include things like working directly with individual students or small groups, conducting follow-ups, and collecting data
Follow the BIP (the behavior intervention plan) of students in special education
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable behaviors
Interact and intervene directly with students who may be experiencing behavior struggles
Communicate with school staff and families regularly regarding student’s progress or needs
Maintain students’ confidentiality
Assis the BCBA with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Support students with behavioral needs in the educational environment to foster learning.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Maintain emotional control under stress.
Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job.
Regular District-wide travel to multiple work locations as assigned; frequent standing, stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, heavy lifting, and moderate carrying.
May be required to lift and transfer students to and from wheelchairs or assist with positioning students with physical disabilities.
Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
Strong family engagement and communication
